Copyright Protection & Reporting
NBF StudyHub respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for reporting copyright infringement and handling takedown requests.
This DMCA policy applies to all content hosted on NBF StudyHub (https://www.nbfstudyhub.com). Last updated: January 2026. We take copyright concerns seriously and respond to valid notices promptly.
1. Our Commitment to Copyright
NBF StudyHub is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of content creators, publishers, and educators. We operate in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and respond promptly to properly filed notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Our platform hosts educational materials including video lectures, study notes, solved exercises, and supplementary resources. While we strive to ensure all content is either original, properly licensed, or used under fair use provisions, we acknowledge that copyright concerns may occasionally arise.
2. How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been reproduced on NBF StudyHub without authorization, you may submit a formal DMCA takedown notice. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the original work you claim has been infringed, including title, author, and registration number if available.
- Identification of the infringing material: The specific URL(s) on NBF StudyHub where the allegedly infringing content is located, with sufficient detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name constitutes an electronic signature).
Notices that do not include all of the above information may not be processed. We recommend consulting an attorney or reviewing the DMCA statute at copyright.gov/dmca before submitting a notice.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will take the following steps:
-
1

-
2
Remove or disable access: If the notice is valid, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
-
3
Notify the affected party: We will inform the user who posted the content that it has been removed and provide them with a copy of the takedown notice.
-
4
Record the action: We maintain records of all takedown notices and actions taken for compliance purposes.
5. Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that content you posted was removed in error or as a result of mistaken identification, you have the right to submit a counter-notification under the DMCA. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your identification: Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the removed material: A description of the content that was removed and the URL where it was originally located.

- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
6. Fair Use & Educational Use
NBF StudyHub operates as a non-profit educational platform. Some of our content may include excerpts, diagrams, or references from textbooks, official syllabi, or other copyrighted materials used under the fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) for purposes such as teaching, scholarship, research, and commentary.
Fair use is determined by evaluating four factors:
- The purpose and character of the use (educational, non-commercial)
- The nature of the copyrighted work
- The amount and substantiality of the portion used
- The effect of the use upon the potential market for the original work
If you believe our use of your material does not qualify as fair use, please submit a DMCA notice as described in Section 2 above, and we will review your claim carefully.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, NBF StudyHub has adopted a policy of terminating access for users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. If a user's content is subject to multiple valid takedown notices, we reserve the right to:
- Remove all content submitted by that user
- Suspend or terminate their account or access privileges
- Take any other action deemed appropriate under the circumstances
8. Changes to This Policy
NBF StudyHub reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this DMCA policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. We encourage copyright holders and users to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our copyright protection procedures.
Your continued use of NBF StudyHub after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
